Always nice to get a little company

Mary and I have been laid out flat this weekend — I shouldn’t have been so quick to suggest yesterday that my recovery from the second vaccination was relatively painless. I got the fever & chills & headache that evening, and it hasn’t been at all fun.

Then just now this pretty little Asiatic Wall Jumping spider descended from the ceiling right into my face. He’s clearly trying to cheer me up.

It worked!

@1, Poopyhead doesn’t need to return, or do anything, to feed the spiders… they’ve found him. Web construction will commence shortly… (The evil cat is probably responsible.)

Exactly which Wall in Asia did this little guy Jump? Does he have proper documentation and proof of vaccination?

Ok. Even I, the chief arachnaphobe, find this guy cute. They must have engineered it as the best human ambasador they could muster. Yes, evil cat MUST have been involved. Don’t fall for it!

I have one who lurks around the mailbox. I’m hoping he’ll scare off the guy who posts the electricity bill. I’ll email you a photo.

    Aww, such a cute four-eyes.
(And yes, I wear glasses, have done so since I was kid.)

The doc is cunning ,he shows us photos of nice harmless looking spiders ,then while we are all going” What an adorable itsy bitsy spider” ,the next photo will be a horror from hell with venom dripping from it’s fangs .
You have all been warned .

@14, By coincidence — or is it? — poopyhead’s photo at←the←left happened to be adjacent to that comment (for me with the way I have my browser sized and configured). Whilst I don’t see any fangs, a hades horror with weirdly stringy venom dripping from the corners of the mouth and covering the pointy chin is certainly a possible description. The horns are either retracted or hidden under what really is a cap; no idea about the forked prehensile tails or tongues, clawed hooved feet, tentacles, etc. They might also be hidden under that thing disguised as a cap.
