That squeaky snow brings back vivid memories of growing up in MT. I hope you were wearing bearskins or something – that sounds really cold!

PZ, do you own not only one but two Honda Fits? We had a 2010 and my wife now drives a 2016 Fit EX. Great cars!

In the sequel, we’ll see them sprinting back home being chased by the native saber-toothed peas, desperately trying to avoid the corona-mists, to be greeted by a hungry evil cat…

We have more snow here in Chiwaukee than you do. The clearing of Morris’ sidewalks was noticed. I used my snowblower after the latest storm (5-8″) for the dog walkers. In Dah YooPee, the sidewalks would be buried my now, and 3-4′ piles of plowed snow would border your walk. Often, the same noisy footsteps.

That was enjoyable. I noticed you didn’t call out any favorite spider spotting places along the way.

Only once, at 5:36, did you mention that your wife was accompanying you.
Also, look both ways before crossing the street.

My wife informed me that she did not want to be in the video at all.

I could have mentioned a few good spider locations along the way. The center city mall is typically densely covered with grass spiders, and there are a few places near grassy areas that are rich in wolf spiders.

    Not in the winter, though.

Pretty much the experience here in Austin, TX at the moment (thanks “free market” independent power grid management), except there’ a 50-50 chance you’ve been without power at home for three days and there’s a three hour wait in line once you get to the grocery store.

We don’t do winters well in Central Texas.

I will never complain about the hot weather again… until August, at least.

in a weird time like this living almost by keyboard alone that wonderfully mundane walk to the grocery store is about the best medicine for the blues right now I could imagine, gives me a nice smile that does not seem to want to fade!

I get my first dose of the Pfizer vaccine this Saturday. Finally getting a little benefit to go along with the extra risks that come with being an “essential employee”. Strangely, feeling moderately safe in a grocery store is one of the things I am most looking forward to approximately 1.5 months from now.

Working around maskholes that won’t keep their distance from me will also get a lot less stressful.

Nice town. I like that you have places to walk too. There are too many towns with houses too far from places to walk to. Still cold though.

A few things ,please ,please forgive me ,but they was a little part of me that was hoping you would go head over artwork bag ,which is the proper name ,not messenger bag. Made to carry great big pieces of bloody art work ,that act like a sail when you are winding your merry way down the Marylebone Rd .
Libraries ,very rare thing in GB after ten years of bastard tory cuts .
Glad you didn’t forget the cat food .Why doesn’t Value have an E on the end of it ,the name of the store i mean ,i looked it up on Google to make sure the E hadn’t dropped off.
@11 Yeah ,my Twin brother has his next week ,he has asthma as well as a learning disability ,plus epilepsy .
He is in Group 6 ,while i am in group 7 so i have to wait .
The last time my tiny village had snow fall like that was in the early 80’s .Took a photo of the sunset ,included a person walking down the hill ,selfish woman took her own sweet time in getting in the right place so i could take the photo .
