On Sunday, I put out a video about Kent Hovind, which sounded fine to me, but I got a lot of complaints that the audio sucked royally. I couldn’t hear a problem, until I tried listening on my iPhone…and yeah, it sucked. I got suggestions that it was a phase cancellation problem, so I tinkered and tried to fix it.
I’ve uploaded what I think is a corrected video. Try it! Let me know if it works!
The solution was an inelegant brute force fix. I took my file, split out the audio and video into two separate files, loaded the audio into Audacity and saved it back out as a mono mp3, and then fused the two files back together. This copy seems to work fine on my phone, anyway.
I don’t hear a difference from the original, but I thought the original sounded just fine on my PC. I don’t do web nonsense on my phone.
The left and right channels were out of phase, therefore if they were summed to mono, they would have cancelled each other out resulting in no sound at all. That can happen if you plug a mono mic halfway into a stereo socket. The new video sounds fine.

Next time, it might be better to feed the audio directly to your computer instead of the camera. Don’t cross the streams, do not pass go, do not collect $200.
I don’t know what the camera is, but this is assuming a single audio jack for it, which as you discovered is troublesome in combination with the balanced L and R audio coming out of the USB interface.
Convert it to mono in Audacity or whatever, then sync that up as well as you can with the video.

Abstract
Recently, some scientists from NASA have claimed that there may be a black hole like structure at the centre of the earth. We show that the existence of life on the earth may be a reason that this black hole like object is a black brane that has been formed from biological materials like DNA. Size of this DNA black brane is 109 times longer than the size of the earth’s core and compacted interior it. By compacting this long object, a curved space-time emerges, and some properties of black holes emerge. This structure is the main cause of the emergence of the large temperature of the core, magnetic field around the earth and gravitational field for moving around the sun. Also, this structure produces some waves which act like topoisomerase in biology and read the information on DNAs. However, on the four-dimensional manifold, DNAs are contracted at least four times around various axis’s and waves of earth couldn’t read their information. While, by adding extra dimensions on 4 +n-dimensional manifold, the separation distance between particles increases and all of the information could be recovered by waves. …..

Might want to check phantom power, I’ve had some microphones do this when the phantom power needed was flakey. (Batteries providing it were deadish, the camera wasn’t passing it properly, etc..) There are some xlr to usb adapters on amazon that handle it pretty well.
Nah, it’s not phantom power, that’s working fine. I get good recordings on my home computers — it’s only when I put them online and people listen to them on other devices that it fails.
