It could happen — Republicans are good at cheating, and there is an undercurrent of bigotry thriving here. But I think he’s going to lose votes compared to 2016, because his record is terrible and he’s even more openly bigoted than he was then.
Also, he doesn’t get to take credit for the Minnesota economy. The Democrats are responsible for that, while the Republicans have been holding us back.
Also also, Omar is incredibly popular in her district. She’s an asset.
Plus it’s harder to cheat in MN, due to both the optical scan which leaves a paper copy and the fact that a post election audit of random results was signed in a few years ago, so we get statistical representation that the scan machines are working as expected. But, who can tell these days since he’s still in office…
Minnesota and Wisconsin were an almost absurdly good test of Democratic vs. Republican governance re the economy. Good in Minnesota; disastrous in Wisconsin.
And since when, in politics, does it matters whose actions provided benefits? The only important thing is who the people believes to be the responsible….
