A cartoon that needs to go on a plaque in the Ark Encounter

That’s really all they’ve got in their big building clumsily laid out to look like a boat, anyway, just lots of didactic signage nailed up on walls.

I especially like the last panel.

What? You’ve never heard of the South Kenyan Short-Necked Barking Giraffe? A majestic animal! Really loves tummy rubs.

Exactly what kind of dog food is he using for a journey that lasts for 40 days without everything getting rancid (yeah, I know, divine intervention)? And since dogs are carnivores, how the hell does he plan to feed them afterwards? Or will he do as Admundsen did and feed dogs to other dogs?

-Completely OT and unrelated, but PZ and many other of my favv bloggers are vulnerable to the kind of diseases you may suffer after 50, so here we go: “Drug reduces risk of kidney failure in people with type 2 diabetes and kidney disease, study finds” https://bit.ly/2ZfEKKG
…so I hope PZ, Ed Brayton, Mano Singham et al will live long healthy lives :-)

Meta-related: It is so strange seeing an Oglaf-strip without any penises. I am a bit disappointed.

The Oglaf archives have a “SAFE (for work)” label, and there are more than a few of them.

Come to think of it, quite a few of the SAFE ones are about theology.

Yeah, nah, that god bloke misses stuff all the time! What’s he got against puppers anyway?

Oglaf never fails to either amuse or baffle me :)

I thought it was filled with dogs because the large variety in dog breeds and the creationist beliefs that god created all animal “kinds” as unchangeable fixtures with little or no ability to change in any radical way.
