Maybe it was a mistake to name a child after the Norse goddess of winter

Skaði keeps hanging around. It’s April and we’re thick in the middle of a blizzard, and they’ve even closed the campus again.

Hey Skaði! The girl you want has moved to Colorado! You’re haunting the wrong heathen!

We’ve got at least five inches more snow than that in Colorado. Skaði got us too,and a lot harder. Hell, considering that it’s the same storm system Minessota is incidental damage to a Colorado haunting (unless someone else got hit yet harder. Wyoming, maybe.).

Have you been forgetting to dedicate a share of your viking plunder to the gods again? Or failing to stand your round in the mead hall? Or treating your thralls badly? This is what happens to those who attract the attention of the old gods, then fail to live up to their responsibilities as Norsemen!

PZ, you’ve got one kid living near me and another one living near my daughter in Co. Please stop bringing down the wrath of those old Norse gods! My family seems to be destined to be damaged when those gods have bad aim! :)
