    Minor snow flurries and overcast here but with -5 temps so we may have a white Xmas. Supposedly it will be sunny tomorrow.

    I am just bracing myself to don winter gear and do some shopping. Yes damn it, I do need that fresh spinach..

    Clear and cold this morning in Cheeseland, temperatures expected to get up into the low 30s. I’m working until 3, then I’ll be going over to my sister’s for dinner and to exchange gifts. I’ve got off tomorrow, but I have no idea what I’ll do.

    Bare ground here in Chiwaukee. Rain, not snow, is predicted for Thursday. I have a well stocked larder so I can avoid the Holiday craziness.

    Could do with that snowoctopus here in south-eastern Australia – we are faced with a week of frighteningly high temperatures from tomorrow with an extreme risk of bushfires in what is now a very dry land. Wish us luck.

    But happy whatever-you-want to-call-it to all the friends of PZ, and to PZ and family. Cheers to you all.

    Best of luck
    We can look forward to snow storms, ice storms, blizzards but nothing as terrifying as wild fires in this season.

    Merry Christmas.

    Merry Squidmas from somewhere that’s supposed to reach 35 degrees today, That’s in the proper metric scale, mind you.

    Went for our morning dog walk already. 22C (72F), clear skies, cool breeze coming off the ocean. Not a white christmas, but I ain’t complaining!

    Well, tonight’s dinner turned out to be a dud after two of my sister’s kids turned out to have a stomach bug. It’s hard to enjoy a prime rib dinner when your 8-year-old nephew is puking out his guts in the bathroom 10-feet away.

    @Akira MacKenzie:
    Oh, that sucks something fierce! I hope your nephew and his sibling recover quickly and nothing passes along your way.

    Spouse and 2nd kid made cookies a couple days ago, I was gifted fancy cheese, so we’ve been subsisting on that for about two days now, and I’m feeling it. No time to slow down and eat the vegetables, though, morning comes too early and with it will be bacon, cinnamon rolls, and blessed coffee. It’s the holidays, I can worry about our nutrition later, right?

    Eldest is spending her holiday with her partners so it’s just we five tomorrow. After breakfast, presents, and after that, Chinese take out. Tis 2nd kid’s last xmas as a high school student so we’re trying to make it count!
