Lawrence Krauss replaced by a woman

Probably a smart move all around. He is out at his big initiative, the Origins Project at ASU. The new director is Lindy Elkins-Tanton. She looks to be a very good educator and speaker.

Let’s hope she gets the same kind of public promotion and support that Lawrence Krauss did. Any conference organizers want to invite her to speak publicly?

Also, Krauss has been on paid leave for the past 6 months. I’m currently on half-pay while on sabbatical — maybe I should have done something wrong before stepping away.

You could actually steal that Morris Star rag you were accused of desecrating a few years back.

Somehow, the headline on this posting made it sound like Krauss had been spirited away and surreptitiously replaced by a woman, like one of those old Folger’s coffee ads, and people were only now realizing it.

Waiting for the lunatics to notice that ASU’s mascot is literally a demon…Seriously, other than moving it to the vastly superior UofA Planetary Sciences department* this is a good move on their part….
