I might have to go see another super-hero movie just because of this one clip from one interview.

I might actually go see Ant Man and the Wasp tonight, if I get all the packing done for my Seattle trip in time. Also all the yard work. And getting my fish and cat situated for my absence. Aaargh, so much to do today!

    I’m not paying good money to see a crappy Avengers movie, but I thought Lilly was excellent as Tauriel in The Hobbit films.

    The comments on that tweet are best avoided, full of menz whining away. I thought Ant Man was fun, I’ll definitely see this one just because of Lilly, she’s fabulous and worth watching.

    The mildly deranged penguin suggests packing up the lawn / garden / Triffids, cat, and fish and sending all to Seattle, and staying home (or going to Tahiti†) free from all worries. The cargo can decide who eats who when. Using a sturdy box is perhaps best, to avoid a snakes on a plane situation.

      † Or various places in Europe — there is apparently a price “war” breaking out on trans-ponds routes, at least in the low-end übercheap steerage-class market, so with little luggage and some creative thinking, it may be cheap to escape to sanity. A one-way ticket with no forwarding address may be advisable.

    Went to see “Damsel” last week — a curious little film, comedy-drama-western, but very enjoyable. The alt-right would be having fits about that too, if they noticed it.

    The one thing that AntMan did better than any superhero ever made, and probably up there with any movie of any genre, was how they handled the exposition.

    I’d see the sequel just for another few minutes of Luis, but y’all are right that Lilly is worth it as well.
