Sexist and misogynistic as the chili peppers were at least they made it very clear Rate My Professor was a joke and of no authority.

Although it was pretty sexist and demeaning.

RateMyProfessors has already dropped the chili pepper category

    “Already”?

It’s been more than 10 years. Yes, I’m relieved. No, I’m not giving them any fucking credit at all.

Can’t have been more than 10 years, they still had it the last time I looked at the site, which would’ve been less than 9 years ago.

How much less I couldn’t say, because I haven’t been back.

Matrim @5: I think Crip Dyke means that they’ve had the category for over ten years, so dropping it is not so much of an “already” as an “about time”.

Can’t believe that’s what it was for. I always thought it was generated from a formula based on their ratings. Obviously if it was a subjective appearance thing it should have never even been part of the rating. I didn’t take classes based on physical appearance. I didn’t go to college to date a professor. I just wanted professors that taught the material and had a teaching style that would maximize my chances of an A.

The fact it required the sexual assault of hundreds of women in Hollywood and TV to get this taken out is beyond ridiculous.
