Okay got it. You’re not looking for a youtube fame or fortune. But what if, just suppose, you’re discovered by a modeling agency who thinks you’re perfect for the first nude layout in Field And Stream or something. Wouldn’t that be fun?

P.S. Maybe they could have some bit of strategically placed fishing tackle for discretionary purposes.
(Seriously though. I’m sitting here giggling madly as I type this)

I liked how you were looking directly at the camera, I thought that was effective.

Hooray for a new book! Can’t wait to read it!

I’ll be honest PZ, I couldn’t watch the whole video because your delivery is still boring (also, we are used to be hyperstimulated…)
You are passionate, PZ, this I admire about you.
Can’t you channel your passion though your delivery, through your voice and gestures?
Break the dam, let it flow.
Maybe take some acting classes? =)

Regardless, it’s a great improvement on your first videos, you are doing a great job!

I’ll be honest PZ, if you’re gonna continue with this,
    add some cartoon animation.
(since you’re under water, maybe some bubbles floating up)
That would help to keep the interest of a certain demographic.

    Yay for sabbatical.
I will buy the new book.

There has been little progress. We’ve got a timeline of dates for various decisions that extends through May. It’s kinda mostly been going against Carrier so far, but it’s all been on little piddly legal maneuvers in setting up the case.

Significantly improved video skills! As noted above, your eye contact (with the camera) is much better. The next thing I would suggest is trimming your mustache so that you are less walrus-like and people can see your upper lip a little better: that will make your mouth movements more prominent and engaging. Right now, I’d think you’d be a challenge to lip read. Anything that makes your face more mobile would improve your performance. But don’t get too theatrical! :-)

The sabbatical is exciting. I’ve taken several, but mine didn’t result in a book. And I’m going to buy your book! Your book skills (like your blog skills) are really great.
