Please, greeting card industry, we need these cards. But they’re also for us thick-skulled scientists who have kids doing very different things.
I’m at that age where they’d be handy to send to my children, who are doing things I don’t understand at all.
I don’t understand you sometimes but please keep doing it. I get it sometimes and you’ve added to my inkling of understanding about biology, cells, genetics, evolution, the scientific process, and much more. 👏 (let’s see if this works)

I think that is actually true for most professions, only that many people think they know a lot more about the matter than they actually do.
