Comma strikes again!

Reddit and the usual clueless suspects are stirred up again over that misstep at Skepticon, so once again I’m getting inundated by messages from people who weren’t there telling me how awful I was for mistreating those poor white people at the meeting. It doesn’t matter that I am not an organizer or volunteer at this conference, just an attendee who had no influence over decisions, good and bad, made here: Skepticon has been ‘taken over’ by SJWs, led by the nefarious PZ Myers.

I wish I could take any credit at all for the excellent talks here, but I have to be honest: I have had zero influence. Sorry, conspiracy theorists, but I am not the mastermind you’re looking for. I’m also disappointed that the Illuminati keep refusing to take my calls.

But at least I have “Terry Dean, Nemmers” AKA Comma sending more letters on my behalf!

Elizabeth Loutfi, Editor-in-Chief & Quinn Malloy, University News Editor:

I certainly hope that the criminal complaint filed against assistant professor Melissa Click that was filed by Maneater Senior Staff Photographer Mark Schierbecker, goes further than the complaint filed by a UMM newspaper editor against regular Skepticon speaker UMM censor/slanderer/Prof PZ Myers. However, I have a reasonable suspicion that you will find out how the real injustice system works, haven’t I? You’ll find out that the so-called “important people,” like Click and Myers, can think and act like their above the law, won’t you? Click and Myers are poster children for the real world’s two different sets of laws, aren’t they? they are, aren’t they?

I am also sure that you are aware of the UMM student newspaper scandal that has haunted Prof Myers. What you may not be aware of is that the UMM is currently illegally withholding the handwriting sample provided by Prof Myers and the audio statements in the abbreviated and slipshod investigation. See link for Myer’s UMM police report. https://freethoughtblogs.com/pharyngula/files/2015/01/Police-Report.pdf. Prof Myers’ police report was only released after I filed a criminal complaint against UMM Chancellor Jacqueline R. Johnson and Prof Paul Myers.

Prof Paul Myers isn’t doing any of the things that you would expect an innocent individual to do, is he? No, he isn’t. (Sounds like Click, doesn’t it) If Prof Myers was innocent, then he would be demanding that the handwriting sample be sent to the BCA lab to prove that he was innocent, wouldn’t he? He would, wouldn’t he? If Prof Myers was innocent, then he would be demanding that the handwriting sample be released to the public so they could send it to a private lab to prove that he was innocent, wouldn’t he? He would, wouldn’t he? If Prof Myers was innocent, then he would be demanding that the University of Minnesota, Morris stop illegally withholding the apparently incriminating handwriting sample and audio statements, wouldn’t he? He would, wouldn’t he? Instead Prof Myers and the UMM appear to be in damage control mode.

If you ask Prof Myers any questions of substance regarding his odd and incriminating behavior related to the censoring and inciting the destruction of UMM sanctioned newspapers, then you should be prepared for Prof Myers’ intimidation/slander/harassment campaign, shouldn’t you? Your Maneater Schierbecker’s can testify to how the University of Missouri version of that intimidation/slander/harassment campaign works, can’t he?

Terry Dean, Nemmers (UMM graduate)

Schierbecker said he met with Click at her office on Tuesday, but that he found her apology “lacking.” He said that he’s made further attempts to contact Click to speak to her about his grievances with her, but she has refused to engage him. “I am just left with the feeling that she doesn’t care,” Schierbecker told USA TODAY. The University of Missouri student who filmed assistant professor Melissa Click call for “muscle” to eject him from a protest site on campus says he filed a complaint with police alleging simple assault. Mark Schierbecker said he filed the complaint with campus police late Wednesday and was waiting to hear if they would press charges against Click, an assistant professor in the university’s Department of Communication. A police department spokesman, Major Brian Weimar, confirmed the complaint had been filed. UMM student newspaper scandal that has haunted Prof Myers: What? There was no scandal, and I haven’t been haunted by anything.

It’s a little peculiar that I’m accused of acting above the law because in an incident in which someone defaced some cheap racist newspapers by scribbling on them, I obliged the law by giving a handwriting sample, which didn’t match (and probably couldn’t match — it’s a pretty short scribble).

But this is what happens fairly regularly — I annoy the looney tunes brigade and their sense of entitlement, and a chorus of idiots starts howling, accompanied by dedicated nutters like Comma.

Comma is again misusing the word ‘slander’ in a letter in which he makes multiple false accusations. I assume he is pretty much impervious to irony at this stage.

I also see he has not ended all of his sentences in a question. That’s going to cost him dearly in admiralty court!

  2. Nerd of Redhead, Dances OM Trolls says

Every time I read one of Comma’s screeds, the theme music to the Twilight Zone pops into my head, and won’t leave.

  3. A Masked Avenger says

His peculiar writing style is intended to avoid outright slander by “just asking questions,” isn’t it? It is, isn’t it?

  4. says

Haunted. Gotta love that, it paints a picture of a broken PZ, alone and huddled in a corner, his life in tattered remnants as he clings to his sanity by a thread.

  5. SqueakyVoice says

Yeah, but you would though. Wouldn’t you. Wouldn’t you. You would. Though I wouldn’t you would though. Though you would if I would. Wouldn’t you. You would.

Hang on, I’ll put some different punctuation in then you would! Wouldn’t you? You. Would. Wouldn’tyouifyouwouldn’tthenwhowould! But then: who wouldn’t?

    I rest my case.

    Love and hugs,

  6. karpad says

Asking a rhetorical question and then repeating the question like that is exhausting to read and undermines the impact of the question in the first place.

Bro is in sick need of an editor tbh fam.

  7. Artor says

Can anyone spend more than 5 minutes in meatspace with Comma Nemmers without smacking him upside the head? I know I would. You would too, wouldn’t you?

    — Comma

Pot, Kettle. Comma, is it true that you didn’t kidnap the Lindbergh Baby? See, if it was true that you were innocent, then you’d submit—demand to submit!—your own DNA evidence as proof.

Does anyone know how I can donate a copy of Strunk & White to Comma?

That rather falls under the heading of cruel and unusual punishment.

    @zenlike:

Comma is again misusing the word ‘slander’ in a letter

While it bears not at all on irony, I also note that Comma’s woeful misunderstanding of “ministerial duty” should be obvious to all, shouldn’t it? Geez, how could anyone so utterly fail to distinguish “ministerial duties” from standard occupational powers and responsibilities?

Okay, wasted comment, I know, but it mattered to me. :P

Now back to everyone else’s reasonable bashing of Comma for unreasonable mistakes, y’all.

  12. Al Dente says

Damn, PZ, you must spit in Comma’s milk on a regular basis. He sure has a strong dislike for you and the horse you rode in on.

I’m sorry, Mario, but your Illuminati conspirators are plotting from another castle, aren’t they?
I find it strange that not all of his sentences are randomly framed as questions against all sense, despite that being the apparent grammatical rule he follows, don’t I? You’d think he’d be consistent about it, wouldn’t you? You would, wouldn’t you?

The real scandal is that a UMM graduate writes so poorly. There should be mass faculty resignations over the failure to teach the difference between “their” and “they’re.”
