That second octopus is a lot more modern! Who ever thought color was a good idea? Everyone knows that color is bad and should be hated! Stupid 90’s, everything should be grey and black! Apple knows, just look at all the color they’ve cleansed from the iTunes interface!
Think I’ll pass on being touched by that Vorlon. And yeah, think I’ll agree with the other contributors, definitely not a Shadow because a) too colourful, and b) probably much cleverer and subtler than a Shadow could ever be.

But the light is not the goal of the search; it is the result of the search. The more intense the search, the brighter the light on the wall. The brighter the light on the wall, the greater the sense of revelation upon seeing it! Similarly, someone who does not search, who does not bring a lantern with him, sees nothing. What we perceive as God, is the byproduct of our search for God. It may simply be an appreciation of the light, pure and unblemished, not understanding that it comes from us. Sometimes we stand in front of the light and assume that we are the center of the universe. God looks astonishingly like we do! Or we turn to look at our shadow, and assume that all is darkness. If we allow ourselves to get in the way, we defeat the purpose; which is to use the light of our search to illuminate the wall in all its beauty – and in all its flaws. And in so doing better understand the world around us.

Nice to see some Bab 5 nerds come out of the woodwork. I do miss G’kar and Londo’s bromance and Ivanova’s frankness sometimes; perhaps it’s time I opened my archives and did some binge-watching.

One of my favorite lines comes early in season one, wherein Londo refers to Vir as ” You moon faced assassin of joy.”
Vir wound up being one of my favorite characters. Love that series, and as soon as I’m done with BSG (watching it with my wife), we’re going to go through all the DVDs for B5 again. :)

I read yesterday that octopuses are cannibals. (I know, there are very many species, & it’s unlikely that they’re all cannibalistic.)
Personally I think the cephalopod bears more resemblance to a Vorlon cruiser, therefore the real question should be : Who are you?

Yeah, dead ringer for a Vorlon spaceship but with different SFX. Shadow ships are more arachnoid or maybe arthropoidal to my eyes.
