Poll: you must choose between Jenny and Amanda

That is, Jenny McCarthy, ditzy mummy who opposes vaccinations because she thinks they cause autism, and Amanda Peet, smart woman who knows that inoculation is a great benefit. McCarthy has just sniped at Peet:

“(Peet) has a lot of [nerve] to come forward and be on that side, because there is an angry mob on my side, and I like the fact that I can say she’s completely wrong. I look at (Peet) now and say to myself, ‘That was me before I had autism in my life,’ and until she walks in our shoes, she really has no idea.”

Oh ho — so Jenny McCarthy’s great logical defense of her position is that she fronts an angry mob? Well, two can play that game. Pharynguloid mob, get over there and support science and intelligence in their poll. Amanda is down, 46% to 54%!

Kel, opinions of organizations aren’t studies

How observant of you… But the opinions of organisations stem from studies, and multiple studies have been done showing no link between the two.

Lurker you completely ignored Kel’s previous points. No wonder she is angry with you.

BTW Kel, I’m an Aussie as well. Don’t hold that against me! ;)

As long as you aren’t a a Collingwood / Port Adelaide supporter, it’s all good.

Sorry, Kel! Mate! Thought that was short for Kelly! *red face*

I love my footy, but I don’t support any AFL clubs. I’m a grass roots man. So don’t worry about me being a Magpie or Power person!

Looks like Lurker has finally done a bunk!

It actually is short for Kelly, but yeah, still a guy. Normally I use Kel to avoid that very confusion.

Even if Lurker is gone, I doubt that person has learnt anything at all. And they’ll still spread their misinformation on any other place that will read it. I just hope those who are subjected to him are familiar in the ways of critical thought.

I’ve seen AFL on the World Sports channel. Quite an interesting game. After finally seeing some Rugby later, I can see how us Yanks took the scrum part for our football, and the Australians concentrated on the running and kicking part for their football. For some reason I think the goal judges in their white coats add some decorum to the game.

Kel, I agree with your conclusion on he who shall not be named.
