    Each day I receive about five links to news stories about ID. These articles typically consist of the following:

    1. Opinions on whether ID should be taught in public high school science classes.

    2. Debates over the validity of ID via the over-use of philosophical arguments and analogies.

    3. Reports on school districts and their intentions to include or exclude ID in school.

    4. The formulation of state and local laws regarding ID.

    5. And of course frequent reports on court rulings.

    Unfortunately the key ingredient missing from these daily articles is the science behind Intelligent Design. Why is it so difficult to find factual scientific articles about ID?

    If I may whore myself for a minute, here is the beginning of a series I did on a very troubling clash between Christianity and Islam on the UC Irvine campus. You may have seen it in the news, but I was there, and it was worse (and much, much more troubling) than they made it seem.

    If you don’t have a lot of time, the real craziness happens in parts 3 and 4. I’d suggest reading the first two parts as well, though – it’s interesting to see how an “open dialogue” panel discussion turned into a rally of almost unfettered Christian hate.
