So I seriously hesitated posting this picture. I am not looking for sympathy. I finally decided to post it so people can understand what police officers have to deal with. I was bit in the arm by an 18 year old female who is an admitted IV drug user. So not only do I have to worry about infection from a human bite, but all the possible diseases she could have.
I’m tired of hearing all the negative things people say about cops. So the next time an officer is not overly nice or doesn’t act like your issue is the worst thing in the world, just think about the stuff we deal with.
I know my friends on Facebook support me and my profession, other wise I probably would have deleted you. But my friends, please pass this along to your friends the next time you hear someone say or post negative things about cops. We are all just people doing our job and hope to go home to our families at the end of the shift.

Fuck you you pathetic manbaby. Maybe I’d have some sympathy if your ilk wasn’t murdering black people. So fuck you. Fuck everything about you. I don’t give a fuck about your pathetic little bite, not when black people are being buried because of the murderous actions of your brethren.

There’s an increasingly long list of people who just wanted to go home to their families but never will thanks to being murdered by the police, Officer Whitecop. Your desire to do so doesn’t give you the right to start gunning someone down without consequence.
Hey, how about you think about the terror of cops killing civilians, huh? Because you sure as hell kill more civilians--disproportionately People of Color, disproportionately Black--than the other way around.
But, no, sure. Your widdle bite is definitely something we should all consider when contemplating another person murdered by cops.
Okay, I’ve thought about it. Here’s my thought:
The next time you find yourself in a situation with a person (of colour, natch), rather than shoot them, bite them. Because I’m sure even you would admit that being bitten is better than being dead. Shouldn’t be much of a problem, either, because usually the people (of colour) you murder have already been roughly handled, tased, and are generally subdued, which means biting them would actually be easier than reaching for a gun and shooting.
Yeah, that bite looks painful. If that happened to me at work I’d look for another job.
Really. This cop should quit the force. Immediately.

I think you pretty much summed up all my sentiments on this issue.
That cop’s whine is especially galling when he will get medical care at taxpayer expense, while those held in cells pleading for medical treatment (often a result of unprovoked police brutality) will be laughed at, ignored and sometimes left to die, with no consequences for the cops responsible.
And by the by, can you make “Don’t subscribe” the default option below, rather than “replies to my comments”? I would wager most people would prefer it.
