Early bird registration for PSA ending soon

Join your fellow phycos at the 70th Annual Meeting of the Phycological Society of America. Early bird registration ends Monday.

From the PSA mailing list:

Greetings Phycological Enthusiasts,
Just like the Great Eye of Sauron, the gaze of much of the world will turn toward Cleveland this July for a momentous occasion: the annual PSA meeting (also, the Republican National Committee will be hosting something the proceeding few days literally just down the street).
Thus, we are pleased to remind everyone that registration and abstract submission services are both available, with abstracts and early bird rates (a bargain at a mere $375 and $175 for professional and student/recent graduate rates, respectively) concluding on April 11th.
A fantastic bevy of phycological opportunities will be in store, including the PSA Presidential Symposium on Algae and the Great Lakes, some great education workshops (most of which are gratis), a wonderful scientific program, a chance to become part of the new PSA Legacy Initiative, and an opportunity to discuss all things algal in the Rock and Roll City. Economical dorms are also available at this time.
On behalf of the PSA Organizing Committee, we are looking forward to seeing everyone in Cleveland this summer! If I may be of any assistance in fielding questions please do not hesitate to contact me.
With regards,
Dale Casamatta, PSA program Director
