Religious Extremism

He’s religious, and extremist;
He’s a danger to us all;
He’s his leader’s willing puppet
And he heeds his leader’s call
He could push us into chaos;
He could doom us with one look;
And it’s all because he’s smitten
By his ancient holy book

He’s been watching all the networks;
What they’re saying on TV
He believes his faith is threatened
By the folks like you and me
His religion has been threatened,
It’s been ridiculed—maligned—
We should hunt him; trap him; kill him…
He’s a Christian? Never mind.

Yeah… so Trump wants to focus only on Islamic sources of terrorism, because reasons. Because America reasons. Because American safety reasons. Because Bad Hombres are threatening Americans.

Bad Hombres. Bad Muslim Hombres. Bad, Brown Muslim Hombres. Fukkit, I have had it with capitalizing things because trump wants me to. This anthropomorphic inflamed hemorrhoid has decided that, for safety, we are going to ignore the most dangerous groups that threaten America, so that we can focus on the most brown groups.

Or something like that, it’s hard to tell. At which point, rational people begin to weep, and Trump supporters start shouting “praise Jesus!” or Hallelujah!, or some shit.

    It is important to remember that Trump is not a Christian.
    He is a Trumpian.
    But he does think that Jesus guy was really, really amazing.
    Did some great, great stuff.
    Really great.

    This anthropomorphic inflamed hemorrhoid has decided that, for safety political reasons, we are going to ignore the most dangerous groups that threaten America because those most dangerous groups are also my core supporters, so that we can focus on the most brown groups who don’t like Trump anyway so he takes no political risk in demonizing them whereas if he actually does go after the dangerous ones he will alienate the one group of people who not only think that his shit does not stink but actually tastes like floor wax .

    Fixed that for me and my 18/00 Cynicism score.

    (by the by, you forgot an ‘s’ sixth line, second stanza)

    Damn. 31st word should be ‘his’ not ‘my.’ All hail Substitutio of the Tpyotic pantheon!

    As the statistics demonstrate here :

    Since Sept. 11, 2001, nearly twice as many people have been killed by white supremacists, antigovernment fanatics and other non-Muslim extremists than by radical Muslims: 48 have been killed by extremists who are not Muslim, including the recent mass killing in Charleston, S.C., compared with 26 by self-proclaimed jihadists, according to a count by New America, a Washington research center.

    Of course, any terrorism is murderously bad by definition and all terrorists attacks need to be stopped and condemned but to ignore the majority source of them for (yes) political / ideological reasons, seems like something damn close to treason in my view.

    Gross dereliction of duty of care isn’t it? Grounds for impeachment even perhaps?
