I Blame Peter Sagal

I have had this going through my head for a day now. Wonderfully.

Oh, yeah, it’s part of a playlist, which I have listened to several times. And which I strongly recommend. Seriously, just clear your schedule and listen. My goodness, this is good.

All because I clicked on a twitter link from Peter Sagal.

Meh, I had to look up the lyrics to find out what words he was singing before ‘cinnamon’, and to find out what the song was actually about. It makes sense now I know, but didn’t before.

If you’re not already familiar with their work, you might enjoy Damien Rice. Duncan Sheik and Josh Ritter may also be to your liking.

I like Folk music. Really, I do. I’ve spent a lot of time at music festivals hanging around campfires and listening to acoustic music until sunrise. This is the type of music that makes people hate Folk music. Vogon quality. Not the worst in the world, but still unlistenable.

Decent enough lyrics, but his singing makes my ears hurt and his guitar strumming puts me to sleep. He’s the type of performer that drives people away from campfire picking circles in search of good music.
