Expansion

Are any of you good at Wikipedia stuff? I ask because Leo Igwe’s entry could do with expansion. I would do it but I’ve never taken the time to learn the many baroque rules there, so I’d be sure to do something terribly wrong.

Leo was appointed a research fellow at JREF a few days ago. That’s very good – the more support Leo gets, the better!

I just published his tribute to Paul Kurtz at ur-B&W.

I don’t know how to edit Wikipaedia either (I’m sorry, I can’t resist giving it what its British spelling ought to be) … but I’m pretty sure that an “activist who has campaigned against child witchcraft” is exactly what he isn’t:-)

As a veteran of 1 Wikipedia entry , I think I should be able to use the time honored syntax copy-paste method if you will send me what needs to be added

I have long written at my Skeptools blog about how important Wikipedia is to skeptic outreach. I think it is vital that skeptics pay close attention to this issue. (TL,DR version: it’s all about the traffic).

An outgrowth of my efforts is an focused skeptic project called Guerrilla Skepticism on Wikipedia that targets skeptic-relevant Wikipedia articles for tender loving care. That’s Susan Gerbic‘s baby, I will call your request to her attention too.

W00t! That’s what I call some expansion, Kausik.

Thanks very much, Tim. I was thinking of Gerbic’s project or something like it, so thank you for calling this to her attention.
