Too fake, even for Wikipedia

Hello dear readers.

I’m still pretty busy prepping a presentation and I’ve made a lot of traction on three long-form posts that are coming soon. So things will be quiet until these bigger projects are over.

In the mean time, enjoy this news: The Daily Mail has been declared too fake for Wikipedia.

Hey, Wikipedia is often pretty good. At least as a first stop. Admittedly it has its flaws. Still, I like it & generally find it tobe pretty useful and good.

I suppose this is more remarkable because Wikipedia isn’t generally in the habit of blanket bans. Even if 99% of what the Daily Fail churns out is false or partly false, the 1% that is correct would be a valid source. The fact that Wikipedia is asking even true or half true references from the Daily Fail to be rerouted elsewhere is quite remarkable.
