What a beautiufl picture of a truly beautiful butterfly! In my opinion the mostest beautifulest butterfly in temperate Europe.

Fun fact: In German they are called “peacocks eye”
@avalus, that’s funny, Czech is “babočka paví oko” where “babočka” is a generic name for butterflies of this family and “paví oko” means “peacocks eye”.
