Friday Feathers: Adorafluffballs

First of all, a happy first of May. We may not be out there protesting, but it’s even more important than ever to defend the rights of working people and the working class, as they’re currently, quite literally, sacrificed of the altar of profit.

Having said that, here’s some cute.

Nile geese, while beautiful, aren’t geese — they’re ducks. (Sorry, not goslings, but ducklings.)

I hate ducks for the toxic masculinity of half of them. Okay, I’ll show myself out — ducking.

How sweet! That’s quite a few chicks to keep track of.

This Anglophone thinks ‘chick’ is a perfectly good catch-all phrase for any young bird.

And this Anglophone is horrified. Goslings!

On the other hand I was laughing my head off at the report that in Florida, “Pembroke Pines police officers apprehended the female cow…”.

I grew up on a dairy farm.
