Robert, Desert Son OM kindly reminded us that today is Caine’s birthday. I am rubbish at dates, but I always prefer birthdays to death days, as they speak of life and quite often, of happy memories.

Thank you, Giliell, for posting this. The photo you chose is perfect. I also prefer to remember people on their birthday, but I didn’t know when Caine’s birthday was. Today I will celebrate her life and all the fabulous things that she created, especially her writing here at Affinity. It is my ongoing honour to be part of the team that keeps this blog alive. My thanks also to Desert Son for reminding us of this special date.
