Indigo.

A deep rich blue, inclining towards violet, and one of the seven colors of the rainbow as named by Newton. The indigo dye is one of the oldest dyes known, historically extracted from plants of the genus Indigofera, but I think I found it on the berries of a Viburnum shrub.

One of my, if not the, favourite colours. And the one colour that always makes me look good. I think of it as the colour of the night.

Gorgeous color. I like the way you’ve captured the pinkish stems in the shot. They seem like arrows pointing right to that deep, rich indigo.

Almost my favourite colour. I like the shape of those berries, they look as if they are waiting to spurt seeds from the top.
