It’s been a while since we’ve had a spider posting, but Nightjar has brought us some dandy shots to make sure we stay current.
Tiny spiders seem to be about as busy as I am this spring, the few times I’ve gone out with the camera I’ve come across one or two doing spidery things. Here’s a selection from the past few weeks!

I can’t work out whether #3 is offering a loving hug or a deadly embrace, but she sees you.
Terrific pictures. I love the third one.
The third has s face that looks vaguely feline or squirrely. Fine captures.
These are fabulous photos, Nightjar. The first is my favourite. I love the silvery shine of the web against the blue sky.
I really like the second, for the dynamic (fighting for life!), but the lighting of the first is just magical! You can see how translucent the little legses all are, it’s gorgeous.
I’m going to err on the side of charity and say the third one is going in for a hug. And I wish a bon appetit to the fourth.
