It’s time for some resin. I never catch up with posting all the stuff I create, but I’m doing my best.
I did my first tries with the burl Marcus sent and alas, there is something like too much blue.

The structure of the burl pretty much vanishes inside , leaving only the outside visible. You can also see that I didn’t catch all the scratches, but I left it at that because they’re only visible when seen against sunlight, which isn’t something that usually happens when you wear a pendent.

This one is smaller than the one at the top, cut from the same cast. With a lot of light you can guess the gold I added. I still love the burl and the second attempt is a lot better, but not yet cut and polished.

These ones, OTOH, turned out exactly as blue as I wanted them. Because here the focus is on the contrast between the birch and the resin. I cut this and the second piece from one block as well, both being about 3X5 cm.

Here’s some trinkets that will probably get incorporated into other pieces. They’re cast in silicone moulds for fondant, so the finish isn’t glossy, but I quite like them.
I do like blue, especially deep blue and gold, otherwise known as lapis lazuli.
There is *no such thing* as too much blue. No such thing. Just so you know.

Giliell, your German Rechtschreibung shines through. Init capping in English titles is trickier than just capitalizing proper nouns. You may want to consult a Style Guide, such as the Chicago Manual of Style. I found a SAP Style Guide which recommends:
Capitalize
Nouns
Verbs (including is and other forms of be)
Participles
Adverbs (including than and when)
Adjectives (including this, that, and each)
Pronouns (including its)
Subordinating conjunctions (if, because, as, that)
Prepositions and conjunctions with five or more letters (between, without, during, about, because, through)1
First and last words, no matter what part of speech they are
Prepositions that are part of a verb phrase (Logging On, Setting Up)
Both elements of hyphenated words (How-To, Country-Specific)2
Words and phrases in parentheses as you would capitalize them if they did not appear in parentheses
Any words, phrases, fragments, or sentences after a colon or semicolon
Do Not Capitalize
Coordinating conjunctions (and, but, or, nor, for)
Prepositions of four or fewer letters (with, to, for, at, and so on)
Articles (a, an, the, some) unless the article is the first or last word in the title
The word to in an infinitive phrase
Case-specific product names, words, or phrases (mySAP.com, README file, e-Business, and so on)
Ha! Finally I get to see this post. I saw that you’d uploaded the photos and have been patiently waiting to see them full-sized and explained. They’re fabulous and once again your artistry displays beautifully.
Blue is my favourite colour and the first few pieces remind me of the colour of my mother’s eyes. I love the things you create.

I’ve never found problems with Giliell’s writing and I probably break a few of those rules myself from time to time and English is my first language.

When using a style guide I use MLA.
