Macedonia 9 – Skopje At Night

This is the last piece in the series (previous one here), which is fitting, because things have come around and I am back in Macedonia for the week. I doubt I will be taking many pictures this time, because work and I’m taking the opportunity to not really think about anything else outside of that.

So here’s a few pictures of Skopje at night, enjoy the light.

In any case, I can’t say anything looks all that different from last time I was here – it’s just a bit cooler (I was warned it would be cold but I’m sorry, if it ain’t minus, it ain’t winter) and there’s a few christmas lights up. But who knows, I’m here until Saturday, so maybe I will get the urge to explore after all!

The song selection is possibly over-dramatic, not from this region at all, and I add a ‘religious content’ warning (for images of the pope in deep concentration, or asleep), but the voices – the voices!

Excellent night photography! The light is wonderful in all photos and that doorway is really cool, but my favourite is the bridge.

Hope the work goes smoothly and you find some time to explore or relax, whatever you feel like doing.
