Very bright sunlight. The posterity will see what kind of summer this was.
That bird looks a lot like the little thug that carried off about a quarter of my croissant as I had breakfast on a local restaurant terrace.
They are cute but never put down your butter knife.
That beak looks sharp. Perfect for picking up breadcrumbs…and croissants.
I have never known a shy sparrow.
