Jack’s Walk

An untaken path, ©voyager, all rights reserved

This path branches off from one of the main dirt trails that Jack and I use along the Thames River. It always looks inviting, but so far we haven’t explored it because Jack is allergic to grass. He might be just fine with it because, frankly, it looks like more weeds than grass, but I don’t want to take the chance just to satisfy my own curiosity. Maybe some day I’ll come without Jack and scope it out. I have so many questions.

Ooooh, I want to step right into your photo and follow that path. Really wish I could do that.

And there’s a branch to the right! You have options!
You’ve done it again, with the mysterious paths: I find you have two signature photograph types, one being the way into the distance (which might lead to fairy-tales or danger or more paths, like this one, full of expectation) and the other, which I love just as much, is the empty chairs and benches. The way you manage to frame them, they’re so full of anticipation and wistfulness. You are a master at the promise of something, but we never quite find out what… It’s wonderful.
