That was the dominant one, head down in grumpy mode and having its tail feathers ruffled by the sea breeze. All other gulls got chased away from its eating human. I of course being a meanie didn’t give it any of my sandwich. These guys gather in their hundreds wherever humans dispense fast food fragments.

The beak and feet are in a lovely shade of orange. They eye is much like a fish eye and they probably have eye for good stolen fish (shh-bom).

They are such beautiful birds! I’m jealous of everyone who can get so close to them. You can’t get near the gulls here.
