So many faces! What a wonderfully expressive tree. I think the last photo is my favourite because it shows off several characters. The perspective you used is also one of my favourite ways to photograph trees. It captures how small you feel in the company of an old tree.

Thank you so much! Yes, that perspective is my favourite. I love spending quiet time with trees, and I do feel like that, and young as well, even at my age, because old trees, they’ve been around for ages. I like thinking about all the change they see, and I wonder how they feel about it. Kinda silly, I know, but I find that comforting.

That tree is amazing! So many eyes that really look like eyes, I don’t think I’ve ever seen such realistic “eyes”.
And I love Linden trees. :)

Thank you, Nightjar! Oh, there are Linden trees all over downtown, and they are all laden with blossoms. The air is nicely scented.

Lindens are the street trees of choice here also. As they may be host to a lot of aphids who will excrete sugary liquid, cars parked under them may get somewhat sticky and sweetened.

Ice Swimmer, I don’t know about cars but I’ve noticed that the pavement under them certainly gets sticky!
