There’s always an alligator! Can’t practice medicine without one. Hmmm, my oncologist is notably alligator free…

Does not everyone have a small stuffed crocodile, at least as a child?

I believe mine was an alligator, come to think of it.

What I want to know is whether that crocodile points toward magnetic north, or if perhaps it’s one of those migratory crocodiles that flies up to Florida every winter.

jrkrideau -- pretty sure my was a crocodile but that was so long ago that even if I still had it I couldn’t compare it to living crocs as they’ve evolved in that time.

BTW, why are all the beds filled with garden gnomes?

I had a plush tiger as a kid. Never an aligator.
But I had a few rubber aligators.
And I have made a paper dragon that could be hung from the ceiling. It has gently spun in the slightest breeze and looked really cool. My sister in law sneered that a grown up man should not have a paper dragon in his room and I should give it to her son. So I did. The dragon is lost forever.

I had to look up what Poisoning The Sick At Jaffa means. Interesting story.

I just had a teddy bear as a child. Though I was given a stuffed lion as a student which I still have. And a stuffed Orville, but the less said about that the better, fortunately it didn’t survive the need of a friend for a target of his anger.

Charly I think that is very mean of your SiL, a grown man can certainly have a dragon of his choosing flying in his room what’s the point of being a grown-up if you don’t get to choose such things?
