    Don’t worry.
Tomorrow is the first day of Spring.
Daffodils and gamboling lambs for everyone!

Beautiful! All these little ice crystals are so pretty.
But yes, looks very wet and heavy, very indoors-y :D
Reminds me, I need to find the pictures of ice in a small brook, I took a few weeks ago … .

Here it is too snowy and freezing. I am not looking forward to counting the damages this upside-down winter has caused to my garden.

It’s been very sunny here today and most of the snow is gone, cold still out of the sun.

Lots of bright sunshine here, but windy and still bloody cold. 1 degree and going down to minus 6 tonight. I am tired of the cold. And the ice, which persists, laying there treacherously just laughing at the sun. I am tired of kitting up like the Michelin man to walk the dog and I am tired of this dirty white and grey landscape and I am tired of being cooped up in the house. And I might be a bit grumpy today. Sorry.
Those are lovely shots Caine and it looks like you had a nice walk.

I live in New England. Somebody swapped March and February this year. A month ago it was 70F, a record-warm month. March: three Nor’easters already, and more snow predicted for this week.

  7. Raucous Indignation says

We have more snow on the way this week unless the current Nor’Easter veers out to sea.

I’m pleased to report that 35 Degrees South views snow as an extremely rare anomaly. Currently it’s Wear A Singlet conditions, overcast and a little damp.

Anyway, your snow shots iz beautiful when viewed from a warm living room.

    It might rain overnight.
That will be fucken awesome for the morning commute.

These are all wonderful, a beautiful series! I missed your snow shots. :)

Here it has been raining for weeks, it’s like all the rain that didn’t fall during autumn and winter is falling now in March and all at once. I am a bit tired of it already, but I try not to complain too much. We need every single drop. I am terrified of what this summer will bring us and after last summer’s nightmare I am unable to see rain as a bad thing anymore.

We’ve hit that tasteless, bare, colourless part of the year post-winter but pre-spring where everything just looks dirty and glum. Even the sky. It was sunny a couple of days ago, but that didn’t do much because it was also extremely muddy. Occasional light flurries, which looks nice in the backyard at home, but unfortunately makes the city into a slush-hazard (thank you, kind drivers who bother to circle around the bigger puddles, or slow down for them; shame on you, trolleybus driver).
Looking forward to the first hints of green and yellow. Should be any day now.
