Stuff.

Time for more medical stuff, so we’re going to be in town the next couple of days. I’ll have the regular stuff up for Tuesday and Wednesday, but I don’t know that I’ll get much more blogging done than that, and there might be a late start on Thursday morning. TNET will be open, as always. Now, if we can just get water back (town’s water main is out again.)

Ah, thanks, but it’s not me this time, it’s Rick. :D His turn at the colonoscopy. My specs are in a broken and unusable state, so I’m not good for driving, and the hospital folks are pretty insistent about my being with him, (and he wants me there too) and they don’t want you driving after the procedure. So, we’re in a hotel tomorrow, and the procedure is on Wednesday sometime, don’t have a time yet.

Just as well, really, because Rick has to start drinking that gallon of effing semen water (that’s what it tastes like) tomorrow night, and having a television and movies and all that will help distract him from the awful.

Hope it all goes smoothly for Rick and it’s bearable for you, I hate when Mr Jazz is having medical procedures.

Thanks to you both. He’s been trying not to show it, but he’s worried, especially after what happened with me. We just had a long chat, looked at one of my anatomy books, all that, and he’s feeling better. He worries about things much more than I do, so it’s best I’m with him. Also, I didn’t do the full colonoscopy, so I don’t know how he’s going to be feeling afterward, and I want him to be able to rest and nap if he needs to do so.

I’ve had two colonoscopies at young my age. I’ll be sure to let my gastroenterologist know that the prep will henceforth be referred to as “semen water.”

It does taste like that, and I’ve described it that way to several medical staff, who are not looking forward to their turn.

Don’t let Rick decide if he “needs” to rest.
    You make that call.
