Awww… a sheltie? If so one of my favorite breeds of dog… Is this the really well-behaved dog?

9 month-old Sheltie. She is a wonderful creature. She is my first dog, but despite my misgivings, she is perfect. She sleeps a lot ’cause, you know, puppy. In between naps she herds the two Siamese cats. Poor Oliver was covered in puppy slobber yesterday.

Whoops! Sorry about that, Raucous Indignation. *insert obligatory not-enough-coffee statement here*

Those are terrific dogs, you should have a lot of fun with her.

    Squeeeeee, puppy!

After having been visited by a border collie and Australian shepherd mix over the weekend, the little one decided to take a shower today.

She is very intelligent too. But so willful! She knows how to sit, and stay and leave/drop it. But she frequently chooses not to. And she’s getting finicky about her food. I think she’s decided that everyday should have a Christmas roast, just for her.

@7 Ice Swimmer, she also has a Scottish flag for days when she doesn’t want to wear the tartan plaid.

She is beautiful. Is she getting wilful because she is hitting teenage? If she was a GSD she wouldn’t be, but shelties are smaller so develop more quickly. Our first developed a definite look in teenage, if you have seen the Blackadder with Miranda Richardson as Queen Elizabeth, it was her ‘Whose Queen?’ look.
