Oh so cute!
We adopted a new rat from a regional humane shelter last month. Daughter’s scout troop had made cat toys for their cat room and were delivering them. Saw a cage in the hallway with a female rat named Margaret. Poor girl and been there 3 days -- the family put her there because, per ppwk, the kids (ages 9 and 12) had been neglecting her (if that meant no play, or not keeping up on cage cleaning, or what, we don’t know). Daughter said we must adopt her! OK, so we did. Introducing her to the other 2 girls went well -- they got on right away. Great! So, now Margaret the ratty has a new rat family and a new people family.

What did she do with it? It’s not exactly food.
She slaughtered it, with a vengeance. Rats like tearing into styrofoam, good tooth feel I guess.
Does she chortle “ah hahaaaaaa!” While she does that?
