People sometimes tell me I should do art professionally, but this is the reason why I don’t think I could handle it: I’d hate people too much. So I stick to random gifts and birthday cards. And I admire your patience and willingness to deal with stupid people -- your art is awesome, but you’re pretty darn awesome, too.
That’s very nice, rq, thank you. Well, you get used to it, but it never stops grating just how much people will value art, but they never value artists very much.
