    The first two shots are menacing. Very dinosaur looking.

    I love birds of prey (as long as I’m not the prey).

    There’s a story about these pics.
    The falconers always want to demonstrate how bald headed eagles hunt. The food is placed in the water. They’re supposed to swoop down, grab the food, take off and eat it somewhere high and safe. Only, they never do. These zoo birds know exactly that the water is only some 8-10 inches and that there are no bears or wolves trying to get their food. So they always crash very unelegantly into the pond and then waddle to the lawn where they eat their food sitting on the ground.
