What a beautiful bird. I have heard that in some places, people keep these in aviaries. I can see the appeal…
Great catch there.
The spots on the wings and tail are stylish and the stripes on the head make the bird look like it’s wearing an aviator’s cap. Also the flying picture is all “powered flight”.
Here, the bird is called tikli, an onomatopoeic name.
That last shot is wonderful! What a lovely stern face.
