While I have other photos of Rune, this one remains my favourite, because that’s something he loves, being all wrapped up warm and safe, with a little window to look out and see what’s going on.

I love how you can clearly see it’s the same rat (the same photo) in both pictures, yet they each capture a slightly different mood, and they’re both warm and fuzzy!

How wonderful to capture one of those moments when your boy seems most himself. And then to have it made into such a lovely painting. Very special. Oddly, I was just thinking this morning that I hadn’t seen any of your rats for a while.

Well, they aren’t always terribly cooperative when it comes to picture taking. And many times, the camera is not at hand, and if it isn’t, you lose the moment.

    I can totally relate.

    Great photo, and wonderful painting.

Ok, Caine, you got me, I give up ;-)
Do you have a PO-box? I cannot afford UPS/FedEx/etc. only simple DHL, so it does not only take up to four weeks (two on average) to get it to you but there is also a small chance that it gets lost on the way, treated badly, and I might even mess up the customs declaration (not all Germans are good at paperwork ;-) ). Difference (assuming you live in the USA) DHL: 7 EUR; TNT: 32 EUR, UPS: 47 EUR; FedEx: ca. 122 -- 177 EUR (hard to get an exact price at their webpage) . I’m too broke to be able to spend more than DHL’s 7 EUR, sorry.

Oh, the packet would be 35x50x2cm (I don’t know how much that is in old money) because it would be a used Amazon A3 packet (quite similar to the ColomPac CP 10.08), so your PO-box must be big enough to hold it.

Cristoph, I do have a PO Box, but please, I do not want you to go to all that trouble! I know what a pain it is to get things from one country to another. Keep Rune safe for me, and if he delights others, that’s wonderful, and if you can sell it, all the better! I do have the real Rune, after all. :D
