Just to clarify, the first two are definitely Soviet-era (1970 for the first, the second -- probably about the same), but I can’t speak to the third, as it seems to be an informal, uncommissioned work from the heart and is undated. :)

I love how different the first two are in the “feel” despite being of roughly the same style.

Well, they’re both supposed to be ‘inspiring’ -- the first is on the wall of the stomatology institute (it’s all teeth to me), and you can probably guess the location of the second. :D

The first looked to me like a theatre academy, but yeah, the “ears” are actually teeth. The second, yeah, even without the text.

The “heroic” look is somewhat stilted. The Heroes of Socialist Dentistry…

The third is slightly reminiscent of Gobi’s work.

The first looks like Ancient Latvian hieroglyphics. Mēness (Moon god) on the left, and Saule (Sun goddess) on the right. Well, that’s my theory and I’m sticking with it.
