Yes, smashing the alarm clock with a manually-operated hammer can result in only partially breaking the clock, complaining muscles, and if you grab the wrong thing instead of the hammer, complaining partners (unless she or he likes that sort of thing, I suppose). The mildly deranged penguin instead suggests her patent-pending Automatic Alarm Atomizer, which basically does what it says on tin — well, very large packing crate — atomizes all alarms automatically. With the optional Predictive Pulverizer (patent-pending), it will atomize the clock, alarm, and surroundings before the alarm sounds. Size of created crater is easily set with the dial, which goes all the way up to eleven. May contain nuts.
