We’re being happy and excitable this year. First up, this exquisite piece of swarf, used by Rick as a wrapping decoration, and it wins best wrapping deco ever.
Isn’t that gorgeous? Then, more art supplies, and beautiful, intoxicating paper for me, from Rick. A new easel, too, in its own case! There are never enough art supplies. Can’t wait to start using these. :D

Oh, that’s always a nice thing to do. A lot of times, if there’s a big thing we both want, that’s what we do instead of personal stuff. You’ll really enjoy that come Spring and Summer, too.
No presents at the Myers place this year. Just doesn’t seem like that kind of year.
I think our gift budget got blown on the lawyer in the Richard “Asshole” Carrier case, too, so we’re going to be rather frugal by necessity for a while.

It isn’t, but I think that’s exactly why we needed them. Now we’re going to drown ourselves in the 2nd season of Agents of Shield.
It’s absolutely rotten that any money got wasted on that asshole. FFS, the whole thing would have been long forgotten history by now, if he had any sense. When you get the fundraiser going, I’ll be contributing, on a regular basis. If nothing else, I can afford to help you and the others have a good drink or three.

Some true christmas spirit: A friend on my BIL and his boyfriend had a big fight with her parents and cancelled christmas with them. She was kindly taken in by both my BIL’s boyfriend’s family on christmas eve as well as my in laws today.
