    Sticking non-syringe needles in people, known as torture, acupuncture, or just pain daft, is, at best, a placebo, and does not work: It is neither an effective hunting technique for catching cheeses, nor signal to the waiting aliens that there is intelligent life present.

    I used to put PVA or Elmers glue on my fingertips to protect them. It works except then the moisture builds up underneath if you don’t strip it off, and you lose the entire callus.

    I just work through it, doesn’t take terribly long to get them back, but mah fingers are definitely going to be ouchy for a few days.
