Aha! That must be the word between “peckish” and “ya know, hungry-like” in the cheese shop sketch! Always wondered what that was; thanks.
:D It sounds more to do with money or luxury to me, it’s hard to connect esurient with hungry.
I think it likely describes the central characteristic of those in the middle reaches of Trump’s administration as they are still developing. Those in his cabinet are voracious and insatiable.
