The gate stands forlorn at the other side of the valley. I guess it was the end of some garden once. I didn’t have to hunt for the chrysanthemums. I bought them back in July, full of buds, but they never bloomed. Then I cut them off and look and behold there were new ones underneath which are blooming now.

The oak leaves on the gate are a nice touch. Like a brooch.
In the last one, something has happened. All that is left are some downy feathers.

♥ the gate, and the colour on those chrysanthemums (?).
Quite the mushroom hunt, Giliell! Evasive little boogers, I suppose. :D
