I love the way the blues vibrate with the red and russet. Will you be using more blue in this piece? Do you plan the colors ahead of time or as you go?
I don’t think I’ll be using anymore blue, but who knows? :D None of the colours are planned. With some pieces, I do general colour mapping ahead of time, but the tree quilt has been freehand.
