The one I knew about, because the asshole bought up a dead town not too far from us, and right on the doorstep of a rez, trying to set up a nazi town eden. It hasn’t worked out great, but they’re still there. Didn’t know about the one in Grand Forks.

Interesting that one of the Chicago sites was a Black Separatist book store on the south side.

That attempt apparently failed, so then the kook tried again, “In 2015, Cobb purchased three foreclosed properties [in Nebraska]. He stated that these purchases were part of another plan to establish an all-white community. A local court blocked the sale after nearby town residents were able to pay the back taxes for the properties.”

Nothing in my region within a 45 minute drive. That said, holy shit fuck the TN/NC border; that’s a lot of Klan factions. No wonder I felt itchy driving the kids to Dollywood. Also, don’t go south. Or west. Or east. Really, just stay home. I count 23 hate groups in NC, more than four dozen within a half day’s drive.
My home region back west has a whopping one hate-radio station, ironically located in a new agey town full of CA .com retirees and artsy people. I find myself suddenly home sick.
Wow. Three groups in my state! My state is pretty big and you could lose some of the eastern states in it but STILL. For crying out loud.
I had thought it was “only” one and even one is too many. But THREE!?? Yikes.
Nice, one of the cities I lived in has an anti-Muslim group (Islam: Making a True Difference in the World: One Body at a Time). Guess it makes sense how that restaurant always had a crowd.

Actually, there are 29 hate groups listed for North Carolina. You don’t even have to count them manually as they are all listed in the sidebar on the right-hand side when you select the state from the drop-down box at the top. Some of them overlap, so that is probably why you missed a few.
